CE marking in accordance with the Machinery Directives and the [German] Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act

What does the CE mark mean and when should it be affixed?

All products covered by an EU CE directive must bear a CE mark. The relevant directive, in turn, lays down the requirements for the product and the conformity assessment procedure to be followed.

After a general lecture on the practical approach to CE marking, yo can choose between two workshops with a more in-depth look at the Machinery Directive or the Electrical or the Machinery Directive or the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act.

When registering, please indicate which workshop you would like to attend in the “Remarks” field. “Novel features under the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act” or “Workshop CE Marking and the Machinery Directive”.
